Mary-Clarke

Mary Clarke

Founder and principal of DXP Consulting

Mary Clarke is the founder and principal of DXP Consulting. A genuine desire to make a difference was the motivation for Mary to establish DXP Consulting a year and a half ago.

Through DXP Consulting, Mary provides policy, analysis and strategic advice. Areas of focus have included the demand and supply conditions of the professions, education policy, skilled migration policy and impact, Indigenous opportunity, and business strategy.

Mary’s immediate past position, as Head Education Policy for CPA Australia, mixed policy, strategy and operational functions within the role and team. The Team’s responsibilities included the accreditation of programs of accounting, oversight of the professional year program for accountants, grant funding support for research that advanced the interests of the profession, the Indigenous Accountants Australia initiative, and education policy and advocacy.

Prior to CPA Australia, Mary held executive roles in the Victorian public service, worked in the New Zealand public service, and influenced and shaped policy and strategy through consultancies, research and advocacy roles outside of government.

Mary holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration and an Honours degree in Economics.

She is a slowing runner, chocoholic, and a proud mother of three.
